Open evening for new parents (EYFS) – Dates will be confirmed in the Autumn Term 2024
Thank you for visiting our website, we hope that you have found what you were looking for, however; you would be more than welcome to come and visit or ring us to find out more information.
St Anthony’s is a thriving, busy Catholic primary school at the heart of a well-established Parish community in Fulwood, Preston.
We believe in a curriculum that meets the needs of individuals that enjoy a range of activities, therefore we ensure, through valuing every subject taught, that we find lots of gifts and talents that the children have and then celebrate them.
Our ethos is based on the teachings of Christ through the Gospel values. Your children will feel valued for their unique talents and leave the school well prepared for later life and ready to take on new challenges.
When your children join our school, either as four year olds or later in their school careers, our main aim is to work with you to ensure that they are happy, safe and able to fulfil their potential in a caring Catholic environment.
I look forward to meeting you and to working with you to ensure that your children are given the very best foundations for learning and for life.

I have two children whom after two years at another school moved to St Anthony’s. Myself and children were very anxious about the move as they were very shy and timid children, but what a great move this has turned out to be. Having an older child who attended St Anthony’s previously, I knew they would be closer to home and amongst friends locally but the move has meant much more than I could have imagined. The Headteacher has employed staff who are incredibly caring and approachable and the teaching they provide is excellent. My daughters’ confidences have grown so much through the help of the teachers who support and encourage each child, and ensure that their needs are met. There is also a wide range of outside school activities that they participate in, including cooking and sports, which is ideal as my children have different interests. I’m sure St Anthony’s will always be remembered by my children fondly when they enter high school as it’s given them the foundations for the next steps of school life. Thank you St Anthonys.

Our daughter transferred to St Anthony’s from another school and the progress she has made here has been exceptional – we’ve particularly noticed a huge improvement in her confidence since she started at St Anthony’s, she couldn’t be happier. The staff are very nurturing and approachable and are always willing to go the extra mile, this is borne out by the number of free morning and after school clubs run by the teaching staff. The school also benefits from strong leadership which means any concerns are dealt with very efficiently.

Having two children at St Anthony’s, one of which is in their final year, we have nothing but praise for the school. St Anthony’s offers our children a safe and happy environment to develop both academically and socially. Their achievements are recognised and celebrated, and support and encouragement is offered when needed. Whenever we visit school we feel very welcome and staff are always keen to help with any queries.

I am very pleased with the progress and development my daughter has made at St Anthony’s.
They built fantastic foundations for her introduction to school life back in reception, which helped my daughter adjust & settle in without any upset. This attitude to learning has accompanied her throughout her schooling so far & hopefully will continue. She is very happy at school, which in my opinion makes a very good learning environment. She enjoys all aspects of school and after school activities which are very varied and has encouraged her to try lots of new things. I am proud that St Anthony’s has helped produce the confident happy intelligent child she is today. As a parent I feel supported & informed on all aspects of my child’s education.
